Nepal’s Ambassador Shankar Prasad Sharma expresses confidence that new Nepal govt to further strengthen ties with India

 Nepal Ambassador Shankar Prasad Sharma expressed confidence that the new government in Nepal will further strengthen ties with India following the recent elections in the country. Mr Sharma said that the House of Representatives elections in Nepal were conducted peacefully and on time, reflecting the country’s stable democratic process.

On India-Nepal bilateral relations, he said that both countries already have a very strong relationship and the new government will try to take it to a new height. The Nepal Ambassador also appreciated the gesture by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, congratulating the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) following the election outcome.
