In a statement, the Defence Ministry said that the modular range extension kit TARA is the country’s first indigenous glide weapon system that converts unguided warheads into precision-guided weapons.

The Ministry said that TARA has been designed and developed by the Research Centre Imarat+, Hyderabad, along with other DRDO laboratories.

It is aimed at enhancing the lethality and accuracy of a low-cost weapon to neutralise ground-based targets. It is the first glide weapon to utilise state-of-the-art low-cost systems.

The development of the kit has been undertaken with Development-cum-Production Partners (DcPPS) and other Indian industries, which have already started production activity.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO, IAF, DcPP, and the industry for the maiden flight trial. He described it as a significant development in advancing India’s indigenous defence capabilities.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), both sides discussed progress in trade, investment, energy, defence, fintech, health, education, culture, and people-to-people ties.

They also discussed ways to deepen cooperation and exchanged views on the regional situation and global issues of mutual interest.

It stated that both sides positively assessed the progress made on the decisions taken during the visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to India in January 2026 and the visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in February 2026.

Mr Misri also took part in a trilateral meeting between India, France, and the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi along with Reem Al Hashimy and Martin Briens, Secretary General of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France.

The Ministry of External Affairs said the three countries agreed to strengthen their partnership and work on a roadmap with clear timelines.

The meeting comes shortly after tensions in the region following attacks in the UAE’s Fujairah, which injured three Indian nationals. Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the attacks, calling the targeting of civilians and infrastructure unacceptable.

He expressed India’s solidarity with the UAE and stressed the importance of resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomacy.

The UAE has blamed Iran for the attacks and called them an unacceptable act of aggression. The Indian Embassy in the UAE said it is coordinating with local authorities to ensure medical care and support for the injured Indians.

मोहाली जिला के खरड़ के पास स्थित एक वेस्टर्न सोसायटी में एनफोर्समेंट डायरक्टरेट की छापेमारी के दौरान उस समय हडक़ंप मच गया, जब कथित तौर पर नकदी से भरे दो बैग नौवीं मंजिल से नीचे फेंक दिए गए। घटना के बाद सोसाइटी परिसर में 500 रुपए के नोट बिखरे दिखाई दिए। सूत्रों के अनुसार ईडी की टीम ने निज्झर रोड स्थित वेस्टर्न टावर्स सोसाइटी के फ्लैट नंबर 906 में छापा मारा था।

इसी दौरान फ्लैट से कथित तौर पर नकदी से भरे दो बैग नीचे फेंके गए। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों का दावा है कि बैग गिरने के बाद ग्राउंड फ्लोर में 500 रुपए के नोट बिखरे पड़े थे, जिसे देखकर सोसायटी के निवासी मौके पर एकत्र हो गए। बताया जा रहा है कि ईडी अधिकारियों ने मौके से नकदी से भरे बैग कब्जे में ले लिए। सूत्रों के मुताबिक बैगों से करीब 21 लाख रुपए नकद बरामद हुए हैं। हालांकि खबर लिखे जाने तक ईडी की ओर से बरामद राशि को लेकर कोई आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की गई थी। सूत्रों ने बताया कि ईडी की टीम कई घंटों तक फ्लैट के अंदर जांच करती रही और तलाशी के दौरान फ्लैट अंदर से बंद था। संबंधित फ्लैट कथित तौर पर नितिन का बताया जा रहा है, हालांकि स्वामित्व संबंधी दस्तावेजों की स्वतंत्र पुष्टि अभी नहीं हो सकी है।

NITI Aayog today released a Policy Report on School Education System in India: Temporal Analysis and Policy Roadmap for Quality Enhancement. The report is a policy document that presents a comprehensive, decade-long analysis of India’s School Education System across key parameters such as access and enrolment, infrastructure, equity and inclusion, and learning outcomes. The report provides a detailed policy roadmap comprising thirteen comprehensive recommendations. It includes eight systemic recommendations and five academic recommendations that focus on reforming school structure through composite schools and evidence-based rationalisation and strengthening school infrastructure. It is also centred around transforming pedagogy, assessment, and foundational learning, emphasising holistic education and student wellbeing.

The report provides 33 implementation pathways for the above-mentioned recommendations, each structured across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons with clearly identified actors responsible at the Central, State, and local levels. It provides over 125 measurable Performance Success Indicators to track progress. The report also features short case studies of good practices at the Central, State and District levels from across the country.

Suvendu Adhikari PA: पश्चिम बंगाल के नॉर्थ 24 परगना जिले से बुधवार रात एक बड़ी आपराधिक घटना सामने आई। भाजपा नेता Suvendu Adhikari के निजी सहायक (PA) चंद्रनाथ रथ की अज्ञात हमलावरों ने गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। वारदात के बाद पूरे इलाके में दहशत और तनाव का माहौल बन गया।

जानकारी के अनुसार, घटना मध्यमग्राम इलाके के डोहरिया मोड़ के पास हुई। बताया जा रहा है कि चंद्रनाथ रथ अपनी कार में सवार थे और अपने घर के करीब पहुंचे ही थे। इसी दौरान बाइक पर आए कुछ बदमाशों ने उनकी गाड़ी को रोका और बेहद करीब से लगातार फायरिंग कर दी।

हमलावरों ने कथित तौर पर तीन राउंड गोलियां चलाईं, जिनमें एक गोली सीधे चंद्रनाथ रथ के सीने में लगी। गंभीर चोट लगने के कारण उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। घटना में एक सुरक्षा गार्ड के घायल होने की भी खबर है। वहीं कार में मौजूद एक अन्य व्यक्ति को भी चोटें आईं, जिसे इलाज के लिए अस्पताल भेजा गया है।

सूत्रों के मुताबिक, चंद्रनाथ रथ पिछले करीब पांच वर्षों से शुभेंदु अधिकारी के साथ काम कर रहे थे और उन्हें उनका बेहद भरोसेमंद सहयोगी माना जाता था। हाल ही में हुए चुनाव प्रचार और संगठनात्मक गतिविधियों में भी उनकी सक्रिय भूमिका बताई जा रही है।

इस हत्या के बाद राजनीतिक गलियारों में भी हलचल तेज हो गई है। शुरुआती जांच में पुलिस सभी संभावित पहलुओं पर जांच कर रही है, जिसमें राजनीतिक दुश्मनी का एंगल भी शामिल बताया जा रहा है।

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और पूरे इलाके की घेराबंदी कर दी गई। हमलावरों की पहचान के लिए आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाली जा रही है। पुलिस का कहना है कि जल्द ही आरोपियों तक पहुंचने की कोशिश की जा रही है।
