HM Amit Shah Pays Tributes to Guru Angad Dev on Jyoti Jyot Day

 Union Home Minister Amit Shah has paid tributes to the second Sikh Guru, Guru Angad Dev, on his Jyoti Jyot Day, remembering his immense contribution to society and Sikhism. In a social media post, Mr Shah highlighted that Guru Angad Dev developed the Gurmukhi script, which helped in spreading the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev far and wide among the people. He noted that the Guru strengthened the traditions of langar and sangat, thereby promoting the values of service, equality, and brotherhood. The Home Minister said that the ideals and teachings of Guru Angad Dev continue to guide society even today and inspire generations.
