INS Sudarshini arrives in Boston after Sail4th 250 celebrations

Indian Naval Sail Training Ship INS Sudarshini has arrived in Boston, United States, after successfully participating in the Sail4th 250 celebrations in New York. The ship reached Boston yesterday and took part in the Grand Parade of Sails, marking the commencement of Sail Boston 2026.

The Defence Ministry said INS Sudarshini joined an international fleet of more than 60 tall ships from over 20 countries and is representing India as a maritime ambassador of goodwill during its ongoing Lokayan 2026 transoceanic expedition.

The Ministry said the ship will remain open to visitors till the 15th of this month. It added that INS Sudarshini’s participation in Sail Boston 2026 further strengthens the growing India-US maritime partnership and showcases India’s rich seafaring heritage on the global stage.
