Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya congratulates Sharmila Dhankar on para athletics gold at Commonwealth Games

 Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated Sharmila Dhankar on creating history by winning Gold in Women’s Shot Put F57 at the Commonwealth Games 2026. In a social media post, Dr Mandaviya noted that with this victory, Sharmila became country’s first-ever Commonwealth Games Gold medallist in Para Athletics. The Minister added that her indomitable spirit has made the entire nation proud on the global stage.
